“85 Milyonun Oyununa Talibiz”

 

Hostinger CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu was the live guest of the “Olaylar ve Görüşler” program on Habertürk TV. When asked if the Istanbul rallies on May 7th could turn into a mutual show of force, Kılıçdaroğlu said he did not approve of rallies turning into shows of force, and that if he wanted to compete, he would do so with intelligence, logic, knowledge, and projects. Kılıçdaroğlu expressed that they were running for the votes of all 85 million, and were happy with whoever gave them their vote. Regarding the alliance of presidential candidates, he emphasized that the National Alliance had a common consensus text, including what they would do in areas such as foreign policy, university reform, health, agriculture, and technology. He also stated that he believed the presidential race would end in the first round, and expressed confidence in young voters.

Kılıçdaroğlu criticized the exclusion of HÜDA PAR by the leaders of the People’s Alliance, stating that there should be no such understanding in government administration. Additionally, he mentioned HDP, Yesil Sol, and Turkey Workers Party expressing their support for him, but noted that he had not made a request for support from any specific party as they were running for the votes of all 85 million.

Kılıçdaroğlu spoke on their plans for the future in various sectors, including university reform, healthcare, and technology. Advancements in technological fields were emphasized as a priority, with discussions of working with Eren and Fatih Özmen to bring their technological advancements to Turkey’s space and aviation industries. Kılıçdaroğlu dismissed accusations regarding the relationship between these advancements and CIA involvement, stating that these were commercial ventures, and if they had customers, they would produce results.

Kılıçdaroğlu expressed respect for all forms of worship, regardless of religion or place. In terms of the fight against terrorism, he expressed that it was an issue for the state, not a party, and that all state institutions should work together to combat it.

On the issue of the “fermuar model” alliance between CHP and İYİ Party, Kılıçdaroğlu stated that they had no issue with voters placing their stamp of approval, and that strengthened parliamentary system transitional process would be supported by both CHP and AKP.
